Van Dyks fields are located in Western side of Nova Scotia. This is the most natural area of Nova Scotia, low density population,Little or no industry. Our rivers and lakes are among the most pristine in the world. All van Dyk's fields are surounded by forest.

Van Dyk's cultural methods maintain the natural and wild chracter of the North American wild blueberry (Vaccinium angustifolium). Long before the Europeans set foot on this Continent, the native people were using these berries for both food and medicine.
